Here is the first  concept drawing that I did for Thomas Sniegoski for the Raven's Child project. The epic (two hundred page) graphic novel is now complete and will be released this August from Penguin/Random House- InkLit in early August ( Aug.4 in the US Aug.6 in the UK) It can be pre-ordered from many sources currently.

are there any tutorials or videos of your technique? it seems pencils and some digital..?

We may do a video one day! (though it seems strange to me that there is interest 0_0) Thanks for the good words on the work! For the pencil work it's outline, crosshatch, rub, re-establish the dark bits, crosshtach some more, soften again, hit the dark areas hard, erase out the white bits. It is a silly way of working, but my own :) . In CS i set the scanned drawing on top of a texture as a multiply layer and mostly work the layers underneath, saving one (or occasionally two) layers on top of the art for opaque painting, (Highlights usually) and glows and effects.
